The Color of Love

For some folks the color of love is
Red … fiery and hot,
For others the color is
Blue … placid and calm,
For some it’s
Yellow… caring but cautious,
For others it’s
Orange … rich and fruitful,
For some the color is
Lavender… gentle and kind,
For others it’s
Purple… sacrificing and giving,
For some it’s
Green … with its go, go, go,
For others the color is
White … pure and undefiled.
But for me the color is
Rainbow Red and Blue,
Yellow and Orange,
Lavender and Purple,
Green and White.
The Rainbow painted by God
is a symbol of forever-love,
And as long as there is
sunshine and rain
there will always be Rainbows,
And as long as there are Rainbows
there will always be
forever-love for you.

A Dozen Ways to Reactivate and Release Your Imagination

August 13, 2011

Leonardo da Vinci is widely recognized as one of the most creative geniuses who ever lived. His curiosity, willingness to challenge traditional beliefs, his ability to learn from failures, and most importantly, his capacity to tolerate ambiguity produced some of the most amazing inventions and art of the Renaissance period. Today, enlightened thinkers are beginning to share an emerging view of the human imagination as an untapped resource. Can creativity be taught? Can the imagination be trained? What can you do to stimulate your own personal renaissance?

Very few of our learning or work experiences actively allow for the critical examination of our creative legacy. Fewer still allow for rigorous participation in the creative process, or the deliberate and conscious application of creativity. Yet, it will be our imaginations that will solve our most pressing problems and help us to negotiate the changes we face. How can we prepare ourselves for the dynamics of an uncertain future and the challenges posed by change? The following checklist of ways to REACTIVATE and RELEASE your imagination is just the beginning. Read the rest of this entry »
